A Little History on the Sport of Goaltimate

I played with the 2nd place Wellesley Founders (named so because two of the team, Scott "Masher" Hollinger and Paul "Sack" Sackley, were part of the original group that started Goaltimate back in 1978 ( in Wellesley, Massachusetts) at the inaugural Goaltimate tournament in San Diego. Here is my report.

James Studarus currently works for a regional land conservation group in Santa Barbara. He is a 3 time UPA College National Champion with the Black Tide, UCSB. He has two UPA Club Nationals Open Finalist appearances, two World Championship appearances & Goaltimate appearances for the Santa Barbara Condors.
